Privacy Policy

What we collect

If you sign up for early access, we collect what you type into that form:

• Your email address. Required, so we can contact you about early access.
• The number of units you manage. Optional. It tells us whether we are building for the right size of portfolio.
• Your state. Optional. Rental law is state-specific, and this tells us which states to prioritise for compliance support.

That is the entire list. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site, we set no cookies beyond what is strictly necessary to serve the page, and we do not attempt to identify you across other websites.

How we use it

To contact you about early access, and to decide what to build and for which states first. We do not send marketing newsletters, and we do not add you to a drip campaign.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Who else touches it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own:

• Vercel — hosts the website and serves the pages you are reading.
• Neon — provides the database where signups are stored.

Both store data in the United States. If we add providers that handle your information — a payment processor, an email service, a screening partner — they will be listed here before they are used.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist signups until you ask us to remove yours, or until we decide the waitlist has served its purpose and delete it. If you ask to be removed, we delete your record rather than flagging it as unsubscribed.

Your choices

Email privacy@propermanage.com and we will, without charge:

• Tell you what we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your record entirely

Depending on where you live, you may have these rights by law — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state laws. We extend them to everyone regardless, because distinguishing between users based on their state seemed a worse idea than simply honouring the request.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to people who need it. Our database enforces isolation between customer accounts at the database level rather than relying only on application code — so a mistake in our software cannot expose one customer’s records to another.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.

Children

ProperManage is intended for adults managing rental property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Coming later

When the platform launches, it will handle information about your properties, your tenants, and payments — including data belonging to people who are not our customers. That deserves its own careful treatment rather than a vague clause added now, so this policy will be expanded, and materially, before any of it is collected.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For anything material we will contact people on the waitlist directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
